Privacy & analytics

Basic music-link statistics

This page records page opens and clicks on music services. Each page load gets a random, short-lived identifier so we can connect a click to that page open. This is not a persistent visitor identifier. We do not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings or a cross-site fingerprint in our analytics database.

We store the page selected, time, country provided by Cloudflare, broad device and browser categories, referring hostname, and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term). Please do not put personal information in campaign parameters. Basic records are kept for up to 400 days and are visible only in the private artist dashboard. These statistics do not tell us whether you played, saved or followed music in another app.

Pre-save links

Our Fils de putin page links to DistroKid HyperFollow to complete the Spotify pre-save. DistroKid and Spotify handle sign-in and any permission you grant there. We record the outbound click, not your Spotify credentials or a confirmed save.

Optional Meta Pixel

If you select “Allow Meta Pixel”, Meta receives PageView and SmartLinkClick events, including the chosen service, this page's address and Meta's usual device, cookie and connection data. Meta may use this for ad measurement and advertising. The Pixel is not loaded before your consent. Your choice is stored locally on this device for 180 days. You can change it using “Privacy choices” on the music page. Declining does not affect your ability to listen.

Hosting and account access

Cloudflare hosts this page and processes connection data to deliver and secure it. Temporary rate-limit records protect the private login. The dashboard uses a secure login cookie lasting up to 24 hours. Signing out removes that session.
